“The Mouse”

(camera opens on a man looking through some bushes; frantically digging in them every 10 seconds or so; people are walking by looking at him; a man walks up to him after about 2 minutes.)

(2nd man taps 1st man on shoulder.)
[2nd Man]- Hello, good day sir.
[1st Man]- (startled, but still bent over in the bushes looks up at him.) Hello. (In a grumbled voice.)
[2nd Man]- Did you lose something in those bushes?
[1st Man]- (Without looking up) No.
[2nd Man]- Well, may I ask, what you are looking for in those bushes?
[1st Man]- (without looking up) I saw a mouse.
[2nd Man]- (snickering a little as he talks) Well there are plenty of mice that run around in bushes.
[1st Man]- (digging frantically in bushes again) Yeah I know.
[2nd Man]- (growing curious) Well why are you after this mouse?
[1st Man]- (standing straight up looking forward) I’m hungry.
